Giant Pitsford pike landed
His first visit to Pitsford Reservoir proved to be memorable for Sebastian Jarmoluk, when he slipped the net under this 31lb pike.
The Lincs angler took it on a 25cm crankbait with a 20lb wire trace and 10lb braided mainline from a boat close to the margins of the Northants venue.
The catch beats the 34-year-old’s personal best for the species by more than 13lb, and comes just a week after kayak angler Dane Wood landed a 32lb pike from Pitsford.
