Balanced bait fools 56lb mirror
Matthew Woods had only been fishing for four hours when he caught this 56lb mirror carp from Cassien’s west arm in France.
The director and guide of European Specialist Tours fooled the specimen with half a critically-balanced 22mm Vision Baits Ocean Protein hookbait tipped with a piece of artificial corn.
This was mounted on a size 6 Nash Fang hook and a 25lb PB Products Jelly Wire hooklink with a 4.5oz Atomic Tackle Grippa lead.
