Club spends £12,000 to bolster fish stocks

An ambitious angling club has moved to bolster its stocks yet again by introducing over £12,000 of fish to their waters.

Around 150 carp averaging 8lb have been spread between Hull DAA’s specimen orientated venues, while 1,000 stockies and 300 tench have been placed into complexes dominated by match and pleasure anglers.

The move represents just a small part of a long term project, with the outfit spending over £40,000 on fish stockings in the last three years.
