Cod and bass provide hectic mid-Channel sport
Dover angler Paul Collingwood enjoyed a brilliant mixed bag while fishing aboard his own boat over the Texaco Caribbean shipwreck on the Varne Bank in the middle of the English Channel.
As well as taking a number of bass to a best of 9lb, he also boated this cod weighing 8lb. A red Sidewinder shad proved the winning lure for Paul.
