Huge grass carp falls to big boilie approach

Grass carp don’t come much bigger or better-looking than this impressive monster taken by Julien Diconne, which pulled the scales down to more than 48lb.

It was taken by the Prologic-backed French angler as part of a mammoth haul during a four-day session at an unnamed stillwater in his home country, alongside 33 other big carp, 14 of which were ‘grassies’.

The pick of his other fish weighed just over 40lb and just under 43lb respectively.

All the fish fell to fresh home-rolled Crustacean DDBait boilies in 20mm and 26mm sizes.
