More fish rescued on River Teme
Environment Agency officers have had to rescue fish from the River Teme for the second time in the past month, and the eighth time this summer!
Hundreds of fish were moved from a stretch of the Shropshire river at Brampton Bryan to prevent them perishing in the low water levels.
Officials hope it will be their last emergency operation this summer, and are praying for rainfall to combat worrying water levels in the river, although other areas of concern include Leintwardine, Tenbury Wells, Knighton and Ludlow.
