Record shaking carp for Korda's Damian Clarke

Damian Clarke has come within 7oz of breaking the world common carp record with this huge 88lb common carp from La Saussaie in France.

The massive specimen was the highlight of a five fish haul for the Korda operations director which also included two fifties to 56lb 8oz.

It took Damian two hours to land the fish after he hooked into it using a snowman presentation consisting of a Mainline Baits Activ-8 bottom bait and pop-up on a 15lb Korda N-Trap hooklink and a size 8 Kurv Shank hook.
