Richworth Linear Fisheries record broken
The Richworth Linear Fisheries complex record has been broken with the capture of this 45lb mirror carp from St John’s Lake by Matthew Hughes.
The 30-year-old accountant tempted the highly sought after specimen known as ‘The Big Plated’ from the Oxfordshire day-ticket water with a pop-up boilie fished over a bed of particles at 70yds range.
He mounted his hookbait on a size 10 Korda Wide Gape hook and a 15lb Korda N-Trap hooklink.
