Silt patch produces four fish haul for Duncan Arrandale

This 33lb 3oz common was the highlight of a four fish catch for Duncan Arrandale during a 36 hour session on the Carp Society’s Farriers Lake.

The 37-year-old Wychwood and Mistral Baits consultant targeted a silty clearing among the weed at 65yds range and baited the feature with 4kg of Mistral Baits i40 Red boilies over the duration of his trip.

He also landed carp of 32lb, 27lb 3oz and 25lb 12oz using pop-up hookbaits on stiff-hinged rigs tied with Korda Mouth Trap and PB Products Jellywire hooklinks and size 5 ESP Stiff Rigger hooks.
