Supermarket bait tempts massive bass

Mackerel fillets bought from a local Morrison’s supermarket lured this magnificent 11lb 2oz bass for 11-year-old Cameron Atkinson.

He was competing in a local Appledore Shipbuilders AC annual bass competition held on Westward Ho! beach, North Devon.

Needless to say he won the event by a mile, as it’s the best bass ever caught in the event.
