White Acres Winter Festival Latest Update

The Garbolino Winter Festival at White Acres goes into its fourth day today, with a number of top anglers in with a chance of winning.

Local Cornish ace Simon Poynter is in the lead with 17 points from a possible 18, the same as runner up Paul Yates but with a weight advantage.

This festival at the popular Newquay complex is primarily for silverfish with natural baits, although species such as tench, barbel and F1 carp also count.
