33lb 8oz mirror tops 11 fish haul

This 33lb 8oz mirror was the highlight of an 11 fish haul for John Paine during a recent session on Bury Hill Fisheries’ Old Lake.

Fishing from peg 17 he targeted the drop off of the old river bed at 65yds range in 7ft of water which he baited with 5kg of 18mm Carp Company Icelandic Red Caviar and Cranberry boilies.

All of the fish were beaten with rigs tied with Rig Marole Hydrolink hooklinks and size 6 Solar Long Shank hooks.
