Angling Times County Champs starts again

The 2012 Angling Times County Championship kicks off tomorrow (Saturday January 7th) with one important change.

The top three anglers in each county, decided on total point scored, will qualify for the 138-peg team final, instead of a fish off at the end of the scoring season. Points can be scored on all open matches, leagues, nationals, Maver Match This and Fish O’ Mania, over 10 pegs. Scoring ceases on the bank holiday monday 27th August.

As ever the bigger the match, the more points scored, with points awarded to the top eight anglers in every match reported
