Thompson through to Match This Final

Les Thompson, a former Fish O'Mania finalist, has booked his place in the possible £100,000 Match This Final.

The Matrix/Bait-Tech ace topped the 58-strong field at Preston Innovations Boldings Pools on Saturday to become the third angler through to the final.

Les took 106-3-0 of F1s to 3lb from peg 26 on Chestnut Pool to finish over 20lb clear of runner-up Maver Midlands man Jamie Hughes.
