32lb common on 'new' rig
Nicholas Lee bagged this fine common from the Carp Society’s Farriers Lake in Gloucestershire on a modified chod rig.
The 44-year-old Oxfordshire rod took the 32lb fish at 60 yards after casting to showing fish.
The property landlord, who has banked a number of 30s from the Lechlade venue this year, fed Urban Baits’ Nutcracker boilies and fished a matching corkball pop-up over the top.
“It was caught on a new variation of the chod rig that, so far, I haven’t lost any fish on.”
