17-fish hit topped by 22lb 14oz common carp
Teenager Reece Lisle took this 22lb 4oz common as part of a 17-fish haul on a Yorkshire club water.
The 19-year-old, who caught a 41lb 8oz common from Eric’s Willows Lake earlier this year, took the bumper catch during a 48-hour session.
The Bradford roofer baited up with 30 Sticky Vor-Tex boilies after every fish and presented matching hookbaits near a weed bed at 60 yards.
He said: “I was made up with this one! Seventeen carp in 48 hours, including two twenties – you can’t get much better!
“I just love being on the pit, and catching makes it even better.”
Reece fished 10ins snowman rigs made of Korda N-Trap and size 6 BMG hooks.
