First-night success on new syndicate with seven-fish haul

A seven-fish haul was Scott Harris’s tally after his first night on a new syndicate water.

The 31-year-old Oxfordshire angler made the short trip to Gaunts Lake on the Guys syndicate at Linear Fisheries to take fish of 27lb 8oz, 25lb, 20lb and four doubles. He also lost three in the weed.

The warehouse manager caught the fish from a gravel spot in open water and an island feature during his 72-hour stay.

Scott fed a total of 7kg of Sticky Krill boilies, along with hemp and pellets, and fished snowman rigs.
