This 34lb 2oz mirror, known as The Fat Linear, fell to the rods of angling consultant Julian Chidgey.
The Fox-backed rod travelled to Digger Lakes in Devon and baited heavily on Persey’s Lake.
The 31-year-old introduced 3.5kg of Richworth KG1 boilies to the swim and fished a matching snowman rig over the top in open water just 10 metres out. He also banked a 15lb mirror.
