10lb tench turn-up

A carp angler had a welcome surprise when he broke his tench pb with this 10lb specimen.

Luke Round topped his previous best for the species on a session at the famous Wraysbury complex after he introduced a bed of boilies and fished a chod rig over the top with a hair-rigged Dynamite Baits Source boilie.

“I just wish I’d caught the fish on lighter gear or float tackle, but I can’t complain about this beauty,” said the roofer from Stourbridge, West Midlands.
