Ton-topping trio from The Avenue
Luke Edwards’ dominance on RH Fisheries waters has continued with a three-fish haul totalling more than 110lb.
Topping the bill at The Avenue in Shropshire was the mirror known as Captain Scarlett at 49lb 12oz, followed by others of 32lb 4oz and 28lb 10oz.
Luke, from Wolverhampton, has had an incredible run of form on the venue recently, having banked a 54-pounder, two forties and countless thirties in recent weeks.
Speaking about his latest success, he said: “I caught these three during a two-night session at The Avenue. The two big ones came after moving behind an area they had been showing in. I had already had the one, but felt they moved off, so I moved with them.
“I had Captain Scarlett an hour before I was leaving in hot, sunny conditions. Happy days!”
Luke added: “All three were caught using chod rigs over 1kg of Mainline Hybrid, Cell, Opal and Banofee boilies mixed together and spread over the rods little and often.”
Luke’s rigs were made with 35lb Fox Trans Khaki Illusion, size 5 Fox SR hooks and 4oz distance leads.
