Wait for double-figure zander is finally over

Several years of chasing a double-figure zander finally came to an end for Romualdas Kokstis when he took this 12lb 8oz fish from the Great Ouse.
The venue regular joined a group of friends for a session on the Ten Mile Bank stretch and used a small skimmer deadbait.
Having taken numerous fish to 6lb in previous sessions he was confident of action, but he wasn’t prepared for the huge specimen that eventually graced his net.
“I’ve visited lots of areas to try and get an elusive double and it is great to finally attain my goal,” explained Romualdas.
