Watching the water yields Oxford

Manchester angler Nathan Jackson made the trip south to Oxfordshire’s Linch Hill and was rewarded with this 34lb 10oz mirror.

The fish came from Christchurch during a three-night stay. The 26-year-old said: “I saw a few fish showing away from my spot so I chucked a lead at them and got about 40 baits out there with a stick and 45 minutes later it was away!”

Nathan fished at 50 yards and baited with Sticky boilies. His rig featured hand-sharpened hooks from Rig-It Tackle and a Korda N-Trap hooklength.
