Scottish roach worth the trip
A round trip of 900 miles ended with Daniel Woolcott slipping the net under a pair of roach topped by this pristine 2lb 11oz fish.
The specimen hunter from Kent travelled up to Lochnaw Castle Loch Fishery in Scotland and braved tough conditions over five days to back his personal best-equalling fish with another roach of 2lb 9oz.
Both fish were taken on hair-rigged 10mm boilies tied to a size 12 hook and a 5lb fluorocarbon leader.
