Big rudd don’t come much more impressive than this 2lb 8oz specimen banked by Morten Vorup Svarer during his latest session.
The Danish angler went in search of big roach on a waterway in his homeland, but with his target species refusing to play ball, he switched his attentions to the resident rudd.
It was a ploy that worked almost instantly, with three fish over 2lb falling to his feederfished corn and worm hookbaits before the biggest of the day graced his net.
