The two-piece Avon-style rods come in 10ft (RRP £29.99), 11ft (£32.99) and 12ft (£34.99) versions and will all fish float or feeder tactics.

Each model is supplied with a threaded tip guide designed to take a screw-in swing tip or quivertip. That means that if you are one of the many British anglers who still reckon there’s no finer method than swing-tipping for bream, you’re on a winner as not many tackle companies still make swing-tip capable rods.

Maximum reel line ratings are 8lb for the 10ft, 1lb test curve model, 10lb for the 11ft, 1.25lb variant and 12lb for the 12ft, 1.5lb design.

They’ll all chuck a feeder 40-50 yards and will fish a float under the rod tip.
