Giant perch landed on kayak session

The first-ever kayak fishing event at Devon’s Upper Tamar Lake produced a host of big perch.

Winner of the lure angling contest was kayak fishing expert Lee Garner, whose highlight of the day was this 4lb 4oz fish. 

The biggest perch of the day was boated by George Osbourne at 4lb 5oz, and these were just two of huge predators caught during the match on the venue, which is controlled by South West Lakes.
