Ian Oliver (above) and his dad shared a catch of 225lb of barbel from the River Severn at Highley.
The pair from Ninfield, East Sussex, floatfished meat to land fish between 5lb and 9lb in a five-hour session.
“We started at Bewdley early doors and after just one barbel each we decided to have a go at trotting and have a change of venue. I’m so glad we did,” said Ian.
