Fishing a sardine deadbait into a deep hole resulted in the only run of the day, just as he was packing up. This is a new personal best for Simon, which previously settled at 25lb 13oz.
A 60lb braided mainline, followed up by a 3oz lead and a 50lb wire trace carrying size 4 hooks, was the winning rig.
