New water delivers bream to over 10lb

Big-fish expert Simon Ashton proved why it pays to get out of your comfort zone by banking a series of double-figure bream from a new water.

The Sonubaits-backed angler made the long journey south from his County Durham base to try a fishery in the south of the UK. There, his tried-and-tested Method feeder tactics served him well, with bream to over 10lb falling during the memorable session.

“It’s always a risk when you try a new water, but it was so worth it because it was one of my best bream sessions ever,” said Simon.
