Stunning spring 10lb 2oz tench landed

A 500-mile round trip paid off for Dean Taylor in the shape of this specimen tench of 10lb 2oz. 

The Cheshire rod travelled to Kent to cash in on the current form of tench hotspot Medway Valley Fisheries, where he also took an 8lb 4oz male fish. 

He presented a worm on a size 12 Korda Choddy hook on a fluorocarbon hooklink alongside a 2oz Korum Combi Feeder filled with chopped worm, Worm Attract and brown crumb to produce the bites. This was delivered over a bed of caster, hemp and more chopped worm.
