Two new venues for big money UK Angling Champs 2017

The quest to be crowned 2017 UK Angling Champion will see competitors tackling two new venues as Decoy Lakes and Tri-Cast Weston Pools joins old favourites Garbolino Lindholme Lakes and Barston Lakes as hosts for the four rounds taking place this summer.
Won by Andy Power (above) last September, the UK Champs sees 80 anglers fish over four matches to be crowned champ and pocket the big cash prize and Lindholme opens things up on Wednesday May 31 followed by Decoy on Wednesday June 28. It’s then the turn of Weston Pools on Wednesday July 12 before it all comes to a head at Barston on Wednesday August 30.
The top 40 anglers from last year’s event get an automatic invite to fish but the remaining 40 places will be decided by one big qualifier taking place on Wednesday May 3. Entries are being taken for this with tickets at £25 plus £25 pools, each section winner getting their series entry paid into the bargain!
