Specimen pair are worth the stings for Sheffield rod

After battling through nettles, Sheffield rod Bradley Hancock reached the banks of the River Trent where he enjoyed a session to remember, landing this 6lb 15oz chub along with barbel to 14lb 9oz.

“I’ve been hunting for specimen fish on the Rivers Trent and Don for a few years now and have been eager to improve my personal bests.” Bradley explained.

“Little did I know that I was heading into the session of my dreams, and I’m over the moon to have upped not one but two of my big-fish targets.”
