The Big One Show returns with new dates for 2021
Organisers of the UK’s largest fishing show, The Big One in Farnborough, have announced the cancellation of the 2020 event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The tackle extravaganza - which draws up to 20,000 visitors and showcases products from the sport’s biggest manufacturers – was originally due to be held in March but was postponed shortly before lockdown restrictions were put in place and rescheduled for October 24-25. Following the latest scientific advice on social distancing and the uncertainty around large indoor events, however, the decision has been made to cancel this year’s show.
The next Big One event at Farnborough will now take place on March 20-21, 2021.
Show director Vince Davies said: “‘We are incredibly disappointed that we have had to take this action, but the safety of everyone involved in the show has always been, and will remain to be, at the forefront of our minds. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support during these unprecedented times and look forward to seeing you in 2021, when we promise to deliver the biggest and best Big One shows ever!”
All tickets purchased for the 2020 show are valid for the 2021 event.
