Club match yields almost 2,000lb of carp!
The Medway Trotters latest outing to the prolific Hartleyland’s Farm ended with the 21 man field sharing almost 2,000lb of carp between them!
Big weights were expected before the match on The Reservoir but what they witnessed surpassed everyone’s expectations with eight rods breaking the magical 100lb barrier.
Top spot on the day was bagged by Peter Growns who used simple meat and pole tactics to tempt 297lb 12oz.
Runner up Johnny Watt recorded 175lb 8oz while Rich Hall completed the frame with 163lb 2oz.
