Critically-balanced boilie fools Oxlease Lake's biggest carp
The biggest carp in Richworth Linear Fisheries’ Oxlease Lake has been caught by Jack Meyer with this 39lb common.
It was the first time the 21-year-old Dorset-based rod had fished the 26-acre Oxfordshire day-ticket water and he fooled his new personal best with a critically-balanced CC Moore Orange Hell Raiser pop-up over 1kg of freebies on a patch of silt at 80yds range.
He mounted his hookbaits on 20lb Nash Missing Link hooklinks and size 8 Nash Fang Twister hooks.
