Drennan England fifth in World Angling Championships

Drennan Team England finished fifth in the World Champs at the weekend, an event which saw Italy rampant on home soil.

It is the first time for 16 years that our national side has not won a medal of any description, testament to their record at this level, with the team finding the going tough on the Ostellato Canal.

Italy were crowned World Champions and had the 1st and 3rd individuals too in Andrea Fini and Ferruccio Gabba.
