Pepper scoops Browning deal
Hunstanton Tackle-backed Toby Pepper, 16, scooped a year’s sponsorship with a top tackle company after taking top spot in the 2011 Browning Youth Masters at Tunnel Barn Farm.
Toby took 64-11-0 of F1s and skimmers from Extension Pool’s peg 27 to take a comfortable victory.
The win ensured he landed the backing of Browning for the next 12 months and also saw him walk away with a Xitan Z2 pole, a trip to the Zebco factory in Germany and the coveted trophy, presented to him by four times World Champion Bob Nudd.
It isn’t the first time Toby has performed well on the big stage, having won the All England Junior Pole Champs title on numerous occasions and recently helping his Suffolk County Team to take top spot in the National Junior Angling Association Challenge match.
Runner-up Dan Blackwell took a mixed bag of 57-7-0 to bag a whole host of Browning equipment, while Luke Butterworth was also swamped with prizes after he landed third place with 52-3-0.
