Poynter bags eight match wins on the bounce

Top match angler Simon Poynter proved versatility can be a vital skill in fishing by winning eight matches on the trot at six very different venues!

The GOT Baits backed rod has been in red hot form and has managed to walk away with big pay-outs at both commercial carp fisheries and large silverfish reservoirs.

During one event Simon managed to land 59lb 12oz of roach on the whip. Barely a single fish broke the 4oz barrier and come the final whistle he fooled 611 redfins.

Although he has had to use all his skills to put together such a fantastic run, he is adamant a secret bait additive has played a major part in the streak.

“I don’t leave home without this concoction and I’ve used it everytime I’ve won. It’s giving me a massive edge,” explained Simon.
