Paul Cooper & Jim Kelly enjoy a prolific session on Alder - 161 carp in the week! Now that really is a runs water!
This is what Paul had to say;
“This venue is excellent if you want to catch lots of really hard fighting mirror carp. Despite the high pressure front and the high temperatures the fish still fed all day. This really is the best runs water that i have ever visited. As we got towards the end of the week the fish were getting bigger and were all falling into the upper twenties bracket. I felt that due to the feeding frenzy of some of the smaller twenty pound fish the bigger fish did not get a look in. They are there but we ran out of bait.”
