French 75lb common tops magnificent week's trip

This huge 75lb 4oz common was part of “the best trip of my life” for Isle of Wight angler Kristian Horlock.

The 35-year-old travelled to Les Teillatts in France and banked the 75-pounder alongside another common of 64lb, plus three fifties, a forty, 12 thirties and nine twenties.

He said: “I had an amazing week which consisted of 27 carp, topped off by a 64 common and, even better, the 75lb 4oz common. It was the best trip of my life.”

All the fish fell to Carp Company bait and Fox end tackle.
