Three prize commons from Farriers syndicate
A shallow bay provided Michael Rowlands with three prize fish from the Carp Society’s Farriers syndicate.
The 25-year-old Welshman baged commons of 34lb 6oz, 33lb 10oz and 28lb during a 48-hour stay at the Gloucestershire venue.
He said: “I pre-baited a shallow bay on dark with around half a kilo of Sticky Vor-Tex boilies. When I noticed there were a number of good fish visiting the bay the following day a Vor-Tex pop-up was fished over the baited area.”
All the fish fell to hinged chod rigs made with Korda and Fox rig bits.
