Syndicate debut with four fish to 30lb 8oz

The first night at a new water is always special – especially if you come away with four fish in 12 hours to 30lb 8oz.

That’s what Carl Sharp did at his new Cambridgeshire syndicate water as the 30-year-old banked the thirty alongside mirrors of 29lb 10oz, 24lb 12oz and 21lb 13oz.
The Solar-backed angler said: “It was a dream start during the opening party on the Saturday night.

“I managed to land four fish in the 12-hour window that I was able to fish between the barbecue and social gathering that the guys arranged for all the members to get to know each other.”

Carl presented Solar Seafood Takeaway boilies on KD rigs at the edge of a weedbed 30yrds out.
