Trio of canal 20lb-plus carp

Finding the bigger carp in a canal can be a tricky prospect, but Steven Mostyn managed it in style.

Tackling the waterway at Church Minshull in Cheshire, Steven banked fish of 28lb 7oz, 27lb 15oz and 22lb 2oz.

Fishing with his brother Mathew and friend Mike Bebbo, Steven baited heavily with hemp and particles, and fished a Sticky Krill pop-up to a moored boat.

Mathew managed a 15lb 8oz carp and Mike caught specimen roach of 2lb 3oz and 1lb 8oz.
