Strong winds and heavy rain failed to stop the fish feeding in this two-day Easter match.

Bag’em Baits-backed Steve Whitfield got the nod on total weight after tying with stablemate Paul Hardy on four points.

Steve won Day 1 with 10-13-0 of bream and skimmers off peg 10 as he fished groundbait feeder and maggot at 60 turns.

John Goodwin won the second match with 21-14-0 of bream on feeder and worm, Steve ending up second on 17-13-0 to give him the much-needed weight to win.
