This serious bit of kit makes fishing in demanding conditions simple. It’s perhaps a bit overgunned for commercial British day-ticket waters, but is perfect for French trips or when tackling larger rivers.

This pod can point your rods skywards and keep line away from snags or treacherous undertows. It comes in a very smart carry case and everything you need, bar back rests, alarms and indicators, is included.

The buzzer bars rotate with ease, meaning roller buzzers won’t jam against the blank no matter what angle you have your rods at. We set it up at a small British water, but don’t be fooled – those legs can be massively extended to allow your rods to be fished almost vertically, ideal for extreme range on the Continent.
