Canal zander landed

This was just one of two zander estimated at double figures that Chris Lowe landed from a stretch of canal. The Savage Gear consultant was jigging a lure on the Gloucester Canal when the huge fish made an appearance. Both fish were fooled by an 8cm Cannibal shad that Chris expertly worked along his chosen stretch as he adopted a mobile approach in order to cover as much water as possible. He said: “The canal is tough, but the rewards are there.”
