Recently crowned Drennan Cup winner Dai Gribble had a part to play in the capture of this 8lb 2oz male tench taken by Steve Taylor.
The West Sussex angler was out on a guided trip with Dai at Oxfordshire’s Linear Fisheries when the stunning fish devoured a worm kebab hookbait.
Steve Spombed 2mm pellets and Krill Hemp over a gravel hump and fished a feeder filled with chopped worms and worm exact. The tactic helped put 13 other tench on the bank.
