Heli-rig snares big Essex tinca

Tench are beginning to wake as big fish specialist Stephen Chesney proved with this fine looking specimen. Although the fish was not huge by his standards, at 7lb 15oz it made for a great start to the season. 

The Suffolk-based rod captured the fish at famous tench water, Bovington 2 in Essex, where he has taken a handful of fish already this spring. 

This fish fell to a 10mm Mainline Cell boilie presented on a simple heli-rig.
