Hemp and casters do the job in tench haul
few things are more enjoyable than landing a string of big tench – as Paul Elt did at Linear Fisheries’ Manor Farm Lake in front of Improve Your Coarse Fishing’s cameras.
The tench have thrived on boilies and pellets intended for the carp, but Paul took all these fish on a simple hemp and caster approach.
“There’s no need for anything more complicated,” explained the 48-year-old specimen hunter from St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
“The carpet of hemp attracts the fish in, and casters are quite simply one of the greatest tench baits,” he added.
