Pole and pin for best ever crucian

Stephen Dewhurst mixed the old with the new when he used a centrepin and a pole float to land a new crucian personal best.The fish weighed 3lb and made the 21-year-old’s day when he visited a club water in Cheshire.

A 6mm pellet fished over a bed of micro pellets, hemp and casters was the winning combination for the angler from Preston, Lancs.
